Hello Senator, As a Floridian, I am requesting you take up HB 1255 instead of SB 1618 or amend SB 1618 to include all parts of HB 1255. HB 1255 makes important educational reforms including in areas of reading and math education. The bill also includes education in fetal development which is not present in the Senate version of the bill. This fetal development education is rooted in science and I believe this is basic biology education that every student can benefit from. These reforms will help empower students and protect students' mental health by giving them the education necessary to succeed.
