Senate Bill SB 1300 and House Bill HB 1467 are companion bills that deal with the subject of preventing harmful content (like porn) from finding its way into public school materials. There are some good aspects of the current versions of SB 1300 and HB 1467, and we (FLCA) could really get behind these two bills if not for a couple of critical proposed revisions in each. We need your voice to tell Sen. Gruters and Rep. Garrison to restore key language in each of these bills to help ensure that our children are not exposed to harmful materials.
